One skein of Hikoo Concentric Cotton does the trick! Simple lace and color changes inherent in the yarn provide interest as you go. Want it super simple? Omit the lace and knit a stockinette version. Still very pretty and so wearable!
Knit flat, as a rectangle. Block, then fold in half and sew from short edge to the fold, leaving room for your head. Leave a larger space for more of a cowl neckline; shorter one for closer fitting. One size fits most.
